Visitors may have noticed the sorry state of the School House. Sadly, the weather has taken its toll on the wooden panels and the roof. The situation has been made worse by the the overhanging trees which do not allow the building to dry out. As a temporary measure, volunteers recently removed a lot of the branches and put a tarpaulin over the roof. Having use of a chainsaw and Landrover with a winch made the task much easier. This will provide a temporary solution but in the new year the building will have to have more longlasting restoration including the addition of proper guttering.
